Cookie Notice
Last updated August 2026
This page lists everything this site stores on your device or shares with a third party. It is a short list, and we intend to keep it that way.
What we store on your device
- Your appearance preference. When you choose light or dark mode we save that choice in your browser’s local storage so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It never leaves your device.
- Whether you have dismissed our cookie notice. One value, so the banner does not follow you around the site.
Neither is used to identify you, and neither is shared with anyone. Clearing your browser’s storage for this site removes both.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which trips and pages people look at, so we know what to build and which destinations to run. It tells us things like how many people opened a trip page and which booking button they pressed — in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell or share what it collects.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely, on every site, with Google’s official browser add-on. Most content and ad blockers block it too, and nothing on this site depends on it — blocking it will not break anything.
Booking and payment partners
We do not take payments ourselves. When you book a trip you are handed off to a ticketing partner such as Eventbrite or Posh, and from that point their own cookie and privacy policies apply. If a booking form is shown inside a page on this site rather than on their own site, it is isolated in a sandboxed frame — it cannot read anything else on the page, and we cannot see what you type into it.
Spam protection
Our private-trip inquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to a traditional CAPTCHA and does not track you across sites.
Questions
Our full Privacy Policy covers what we do with the information you send us. If anything here is unclear, please get in touch and we will explain it properly.
